Synopsis

*SCAPE’s platform for music showcase, Confessions, is set to take centre stage in a bigger and better way this November! Headlining act Urbandub (Philippines) returns to Singapore after their recent visit in June ’09, in a one-off gig to launch their new album ‘The Apparition’.

Confessions UPSIZED! will also feature the bands Angulo (Philippines), Marchtwelve, West Grand Boulevard, Silhouette and Caracal.

Look out for a special song collaboration between Marchtwelve and Filipino band Angulo! Silhouette is back on the Confessions stage after their recent “Discover” EP launch in January ’09. Also fresh from their “Phoenix” EP launch, Caracal will be involved in *SCAPE’s latest “Cheers to Love” Community Outreach programme, where young artistic talents give back to the community. In its inaugural efforts, this programme has seen visual artists and musicians use their artistic talents to bring love and comfort by painting and music-playing to the sick at hospitals. More information will be released at a later date.

In 2009, *SCAPE Confessions is a live music series that is all about showcasing new sounds, talents and music collaborations with up and coming music artistes, bringing vibrancy and new challenges to the music industry in Singapore. Come 2010, *SCAPE will be a 5-storey urban community space with bigger, better facilities for jamming/rehearsals, recording and showcase right in the heart of Orchard Road.
